We are currently seeking a fulltime Maintenance Officer to work between both Oaks Brisbane on Margaret Suites 3 days per week) and Queens Wharf Residences 2 days per week). You will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas and carrying out repairs within the hotels working Tuesday Saturday.
About the role:
- Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required;
- Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
- Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property; and
- Maintain daily work records and service schedules
Hourly rates (excluding super)
Monday Friday: $32.25 per hour
Saturday: $32.25 per hour
Sunday: $38.70 per hour
Qualifications :
Successful applicants will have:
- Previous handson building maintenance experience;
- A passion for delivering exceptional service;
- Strong time management skills;
- An excellent workethic and proven ability to work unsupervised;
- Excellent interpersonal and communications.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts as required including weekends and public holidays
