- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting operations functions including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and payroll
- Lead coordinate and oversee the preparation of the Monthly Quarterly and Annual financial reporting results narratives including preparation review and oversight of key deliverables.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws rules and regulations are followed.
- Ensure SOX controls and processes are strictly followed.
- Develop and maintain financial policies procedures and internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with SEC team providing supporting documents
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to provide insights into business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership to the accounting strategy to optimize the companys financial performance and strategic position
- Lead annual audit and liaison with external audit firm.
- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals to ensure highquality performance and engagement as this is a handson and strategic role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field from a top tiered school; active CPA is required
- 15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience including at least 5 years in a leadership role in a publicly traded company.
- Prior public accounting experience is required from a top firm preferably big 4
- Prior experience within distribution warehousing or consumerpackaged goods industry is required
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
This is an onsite role in Vernon CA with travel to Phoenix AZ50 of the time(travel costs and lodging covered)
