Why Your Role Matters
The Administrative Officer Graduations & Prizes team provides effective daytoday administrative support within the Student Lifecycle team to ensure all services are provided efficiently to meet the operating needs of the Registrar & Student Services Unit (RASS) within the Division of the Deputy ViceChancellor Education & Student Experience. Working as part of the Student Lifecycle team this position is responsible for undertaking a range of high quality customer focused business processes and communications. The Administrator will primarily focus jointly on the central management of student records graduations and prizes and assist in running graduation ceremony events.
The role is fixed term role until May 2026 (covering for someone on a secondment opportunity) starting asap.

Who You Are
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced administrator confident in their skills in planning problem solving and time management. You will be well organised but also agile able to manage competing priorities with ease. Our ideal candidate is passionate about higher education aligned with UNSWs vision and values and is excited to work on graduation ceremonies!
Working hours will be Monday to Friday business hours. The role will work on a hybrid basis 3 days in 2 days home) although leading up to graduation and during graduation week we will expect the successful person to work onsite at Kensington Campus every day. During busy event weeks 3 times a year) there is an expectation to work outside of regular days/hours as well.
This role will also require some lifting moving equipment/resources around campus and standing/walking for long periods of time during event weeks.
Candidates will need to have full working rights this role is not available for sponsorship.
