The Marathon Anacortes Refinery is seeking a fulltime Reliability Manager in the Maintenance Department.
This position supervises the Reliability Engineers (Fixed Equipment Rotating Equipment Electrical Instrumentation/Analyzer and Corrosion/Metallurgy) who are considered subject matter experts in each of their respective disciplines.
The Reliability Department is responsible for defining the scope of the preventive and predictive maintenance program and tracking its effectiveness. This department is also responsible for assisting in reliability investigations defining the required training programs and providing recommendations for improving equipment reliability. Furthermore the team is responsible for documenting the required information in accordance with the Mechanical Integrity Program.
The Reliability Manager provides the vision and facilitates continuous improvement efforts in support of longterm reliability improvements. They work closely with all departments to achieve common goals focusing on safety compliance and reliable operation of the refinery while maximizing the profitability of the site. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Director.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of refinery or petrochemical Maintenance/Engineering experience. Prior experience in Reliability is preferred; or High School Diploma or GED required with 15 years of relevant maintenance experience in process industry (e.g. refining midstream petrochemical or other heavy industrial)
