With the current housing development boom were looking for a talented GIS Analyst to join our small but dynamic team. This is a great opportunity to work on a large and diverse range of exciting projects and contribute to shaping the future of Councils mapping systems.
As a GIS Analyst youll assist with implementing improvements to ensure GIS data quality remains high and GIS systems continue to deliver value. Youll get involved in developing and creating new GIS tools and apps for the community and staff to improve efficiencies and work on projects that make a real impact on the way our team and the community access and use spatial data. Youll also have the opportunity to provide GIS training and support to staff.
Youll be working in a fast paced collaborative environment with plenty of opportunities to work with neighbouring councils and state agencies on larger projects. Plus youll have a key role in helping shape our GIS strategy and making sure it meets the needs of the community.

$96213 $110645 per annum plus superannuation.
Were after someone with a degree in Geospatial Science Information Technology or a similar field and who has hands on experience with GIS. You should be comfortable working independently managing multiple tasks and hitting deadlines.
