Job Description

Kiddiwinks Nurseries Ltd are looking to recruit an apprentice at their setting based in Woodley Stockport. Gain a qualification while earning. You will be working in the setting with children from babies and toddlers to 3 and 4 year olds.

As an apprentice you will be trained to a high standard in all duties required of you involving keeping the children safe and enhancing their learning/play. You will be assigned an assessor from our training provider who will visit you on site on a regular basis. You will be supported throughout your training and treated as a valuable member of staff.

Working week
Monday to Friday

40 hours per week total
Daily hours to be confirmed

Wage
7.55 per hour

Wage Rises to National Minimum Wage after 12 months

Qualification
Early Years Educator level 3

Duration: 18 months
Training Provider: LMP Education

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn all aspects of Early Years Education at level 2 or 3
  • understand and implement the EYFS observing and recording childrens achievements
  • Organise activities to support the childrens development through play
  • Provide for the care and practical needs of the children; health hygiene and nutrition
  • Work with a professional friendly and supportive team
  • Ensure the safety of children at all times
  • Keep the nursery clean
  • Perform any other duties required by the team
  • Recognize the importance of parental involvement and encourage parental involvement within the nursery.
  • Promote positive images and attitudes for all and have the ability to help children respect people with different ethnic origin gender religion ability and culture.

Desired qualifications
English and Maths at GCSE level AC 49 or functional skills equivalent
