Trademark Associate Attorney (4 6 Years)
Am Law 200 Firm Washington DC Hybrid/Remote Flexible
An Am Law 200 firm is seeking a Trademark Associate with 4 6 years of substantive practice experience to join its Washington DC office. This is a compelling opportunity for attorneys looking to work across a wide range of trademark copyright and advertising matters in a practice known for high-quality work and a collaborative approach.
Role Highlights
- Manage domestic and international trademark clearance prosecution and enforcement
- Review advertising and creative content for FTC and other regulatory compliance
- Contribute to TTAB proceedings and trademark/false advertising litigation in federal court
- Serve clients across industries including consumer products restaurants life sciences and software
- Work closely with attorneys across the Trademark Copyright and IP Practices
Qualifications
Required:
- 4 6 years of trademark law experience with a focus on clearance and prosecution
- Experience with FTC advertising compliance and review of creative assets
- Background in TTAB matters and federal court litigation related to trademarks or false advertising
- Active membership in the DC Bar
Preferred:
- Spanish language proficiency
- Experience in copyright law
- Familiarity with trademark issues in key industries such as CPG software restaurant or life sciences
