Job Description
Brosnan Security Services seeks enthusiastic passionate Security Officers to work in a commercial building in NYC.
The ideal candidate for the Security Officer position is excellent with customers and has an impressive ability to communicate well with others. Shift Hours:8am4pm;4pm12am
Responsibilities:
Execute security services as outlined in sitespecific post orders and directed by Security Management
Stand in a professional position (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile concrete carpet)
Act as a customerfriendly deterrent to crime
Observe and report suspicious activities and persons
Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily incident reports (DIRs)
Enforce rules regulations policies procedures and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid NYS Security Guard License
Must have minimum 1 year Experience in Security
Must own an active smartphone
Must have good command of the English language
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be available to work days nights and weekends
Must have reliable transportation or knowledge of subway system
