Salary to $75K plus superannuation
Are you an experienced and organised professional looking for a role where you can work closely with and support local businesses Penrith CBD Corporation is seeking a proactive Administrator to join our team and contribute to the growth and vibrancy of the Penrith CBD.
About Us:
Penrith CBD Corporation (PCBDC) is a key driver of economic development business support and community engagement within the Penrith CBD. We organise events support local businesses and ensure the area thrives as a hub for commerce and community life.
About the Role:
This dynamic role supports the CEO by ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of administrative tasks events and business support activities. Youll interact with local stakeholders manage communications and assist with planning and delivering initiatives that enhance the Penrith CBD. This is a fulltime officebased role located in Penrith.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to the CEO.
Manage email correspondence incoming/outgoing mail and telephone inquiries.
Maintain and update the PCBDC website social media platforms and database.
Assist in planning promoting and running events including monthly coffee catchups and the Penrith Festival.
Liaise with and support local stakeholders in their marketing and promotional efforts and build strong connections within the local business community.
Coordinate office operations including filing and office supplies.
What Were Looking For:
A mature professional approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
A strong customer service and team focus
A proactive attitude and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with ease.
Experience in administration or business support roles (events work is a bonus!.
Competence with technology including Microsoft Office and databases (experience with Canva and social media platforms would be great).
Flexibility to accommodate occasional outofhours work (attendance at morning and evening functions and events is sometimes required).
You must have a drivers licence and reliable vehicle as travel within the Penrith local area will be required. Given the nature of the role a proven commitment to the local Penrith community is also a key requisite.
