Description

The Lead Auditor is responsible for leading a team to conduct audits and assessments in compliance with DNV standards international standards or similar national standards. These audits should be in accordance with established DNV methodologies and rules.


This position has continuous ongoing recruitment efforts for current and future openings. Applying for this role will gain you consideration for all roles within this opening which you are qualified for.



What youll do:

  • Plan and execute audits report findings and follow up within agreed times scales and economic frameworks.
  • Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core areas.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with client personnel.
  • Carry out in an efficient and competent manner the work for DNV as required by instructions/ Quality System and/or as per formal agreement between the client and DNV.
  • Contact customers to confirm the planned activities.
  • Ensure that the independent nature of the DNV scheme is not compromised at any time.
  • Maintain/acquire his/her Auditor Registration with DNV or any other registration having been a basis for his acceptance as Lead Auditor within DNV.
  • Maintain high morale by contributing to an effective positive work environment.
  • Act as a team player who works well with others and guides through the professional development process including timely completion of reviews and goal setting.
  • Maintain effective communication with line management between audit team members and client
    stakeholders.
  • Ensure the correct use of production tools dedicated to auditing activities and the communication of updated data to allow proper issue and management of certificates.

The F&B Lead Auditor reports to the Lead Auditor Coordinator Food & Beverage.

Qualifications
  • Already qualified as thirdparty auditor according to food safety standard
  • Fluent Italian and a good knowledge of English
  • Team player
  • Positive and resultdriven mindset
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Availability to travel in Italy and occasionally abroad
  • People management skills
  • Very good knowledge of Office suite (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint)
