Job Description
Vertex is currently accepting applications for experienced fulltime Class 1 Fluids Operator with a FAST cARD.We have a great team and the ability to generate above average industry revenue.
Position Title: Class 1 Fluids Operator
Position location: Grande Prairie

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- FAST CARD Holder
- Valid Class 1 drivers license with a clean driver abstract
- Minimum 2 years experience driving tank trucks (fluid hauling) desired
- Capable to operate Tri Axle units and Super B trucks
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive and operate equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Participate in safety program by ensuring all company and customer policies & procedures are adhered to
- Attendance and participation in toolbox talks and safety meetings FLRAs hazard assessment development pretrips/posttrips
- Willing to work as a team player with coworkers contractors and customers
- Follow all local provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Ensure all safety certificate training are up to date
- Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs waste manifests etc.
- Workload and schedules may vary depending on emergency situations and routine work that can be punctuated by very busy periods
- Travel is required and driving will occur in all weather conditions to various customer and/or Vertex worksites
- Ability to lift heavy tools and parts
