Job Description
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Drive forklift
- Assist in receipt and storage of incoming and outgoing materials
- Read and understand Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork.
- Must be proficient with Scan gun and JDE System.
- Must be able to maintain an outstanding attendance record.
- Inventory/Transaction Accuracy is required.
- Assist with cycle counts
- Inspect trucks for all loads entering.
- Responsible for wrapping and movement of finished goods.
- Responsible for dumping trash and keeping warehouse space clean.
Required Skills:
- Able to work in a fastpaced environment
- Good math and communication skills
- Motivated and selfstarter
- Work with speed and accuracy with little supervision
- Must be able to follow instructions well
- Must be well organized
- Must be able to work a 12 hours shift
- Must be able to pass functional capacity exam to lift 50lbs and pust/pull 75lbs
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED required. 1 2 years warehouse experience preferred plus experience in warehouse functions of JDE and Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel preferred. Must be organized and able to multitask and solve issues in a timely manner. Must be able to work with speed in a fastpaced environment and with accuracy. Must be able to follow instructions.
PHYSICAL AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to communicate facetoface and over the phone
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Frequent standing bending twisting kneeling climbing on and off the forklift pushing/pulling and reaching.
- Repetitive hand and foot movement.
- Work environment includes occasional noise >85db hot and cold temperatures and some fumes/odors.
- Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision.
