Job Description
Trevor Day School is seeking candidates for a fulltime Upper School Mathematics Teacher for theyear. Responsibilities include teaching various mathematics classes and serving as an advisor to a group of students. Candidates must have the ability to teach the full breadth of the Upper School mathematics curriculum including Algebra Geometry Precalculus Calculus and Statistics. They should have a strong interest in working with a diverse student body and colleagues in an open and collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred as well as a minimum of three years experience in mathematics instruction.
Experience using technology to enhance classroom learning.
Proficiency with the Google suite of applications Desmos and GeoGebra.
Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues on lesson planning and innovative curriculum development.
Proven ability to form strong relationships with students families and colleagues.
Familiarity with differentiated instruction to accommodate a range of learning styles.
Commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility creativity patience and a sense of humor.
The fulltime salary range for this position is $55000$176000 as per the schools salary scale. When extending an offer for employment Trevor Day School bases the salary upon several factors that include (but are not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education training key skills and peer salary equity.
