Position Summary:

An exciting opportunity is available to join our Client Engagement team which is

responsible for delivering services to our private wealth clients across Canada. As part of our clientcentric strategy within Canada Distribution you will collaborate closely with the client service teams to deliver worldclass service and ensure an exceptional client experience. You will partner with marketing global distribution support & operational functions investment & product teams and related third parties to deliver highquality service bringing client knowledge and insight to all support activities. A focus on efficiencies is essential; you will be tasked with introducing new and innovative ideas to enhance current processes and improve how we service clients.

The Private Client Services Associate (PCSA) is clientfocused and responsible for delivering highquality service to Private Wealth clients (highnetworth individuals). PCSAs are responsible for the daytoday administration of client relationships for private wealth clients in Canada. Ideal candidates will be located in Calgary Alberta but may consider candidates based in Toronto as well.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Private Client Service Associate

  • Client Service: Assist with a variety of tasks including requests for proposals account opening coordinating client meetings proactive service activities preparing meeting material responding to client inquiries process documents and correspondence.

  • Manage and respond to requests from clients working with internal partners to ensure clients expectations are met and responses are handled professionally and efficiently

  • Support a team including the Associate Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Managers with a variety of daily tasks special initiatives and projects.

  • Provide insights to the distribution team to improve the client experience and develop process efficiencies.

  • Trade/Account Management: Responsibilities include account setup fee and performance reporting trade submissions coordinate/track compliance and audit requirements.

  • Sales Support: Coordinate sales meetings preparing presentations and sales materials.

What ideal qualifications skills & experience would help someone to be successful

  • University or College degree or equivalent relevant financial services experience

  • 26 years of financial services experiences (e.g. in the mutual fund banking wealth management or securities industry)

  • Canadian Securities Course preferred (CSC)

  • Bilingual (English / French); ability to speak French preferred

  • A sales and marketing mindset with the ability to identify client needs and position solutions that address those needs

  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Strong multitasker who can respond rapidly and effectively to requests

  • Positive and proactive approach with the ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to work in our Calgary Alberta office or our Toronto office two to three days per week (hybrid work schedule)
