Punters Bar is a friendly and vibrant Bar and Bottle Shop located at the corner of McMinn and Cashman Streets in Darwin City. We take pride in offering a welcoming atmosphere with some of the best live entertainment delicious food and exciting sporting events in Darwin. The Role:
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic experienced and dedicated Duty Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for hospitality and a proven track record in a similar management role. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Supervise staff to maintain high standards of service and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Manage stock including ordering and maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Assist with monthly stocktakes.
- Liaise with industry representatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Experience with SwiftPOS is advantageous.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in Gaming TAB and Keno including cash reconciliation.
- Previous experience in a similar Hospitality Duty Manager role.
- Experience with Cash Redemption Terminals.
- Solid understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations.
- NT Gaming Machine Managers Licence (or ability to obtain) RSA and RSG.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Previous bottle shop experience is desirable.
