Job Description
Job Title: Social Worker Court Consultant
Location:Bradford
Rate: 49.80 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced social worker in the Management Team to support across Childrens Services in delivering a high quality Social Care Service to children and their families with a specific focus on work undertaken within Public Law Outline and Public Law Proceedings.
What will your responsibilities be
In this role you will manage and track care and discharge proceedings cases ensuring all parties understand their roles and meet court directions on time. You will work with stakeholders to improve courtdirected work standards and support staff and managers in improving practice and continuous learning. You will provide guidance and quality assurance for care proceedings cases collect and analyse performance data and represent the local authority in regional meetings. Additionally you will evaluate court proceedings audit social work records and lead training and development initiatives. You will also work to reduce delays in achieving permanence for children and support the implementation of the Signs of Safety approach. Lastly you will chair meetings to ensure timely outcomes for children and young people and supervise social workers on specific projects.
Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role you should hold a Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. You should have a full UK driving licence and possess a Social Work qualification such as a degree or equivalent. Additionally you should have at least 2 years of experience as a social worker within childrens services.
