Alto is the premier fleet & driver provider for Uber in Los Angeles. We offer our drivers a W2 employment model complete with guaranteed hourly wages healthcare & 401(k) benefits and a supportive team environment. We provide you with a newmodel luxury SUV for every shift and handle all fuel maintenance and insurance costs so you can focus on driving! Plus our topoftheline invehicle technology keeps you safe behind the wheel.

Day in the life:

• Come to the Alto Operations center at the start of your shift to see the team and pick up your SUV for the day

• Hit the road and complete trips on the Uber platform

• Return your vehicle at the end of the shift our onsite team handles fueling cleaning and maintenance!

• Earn an hourly wage with additional peakdemand earning opportunities and keep 100 of the tips you earn while driving.

Pay

• Hourly rates vary by time of day and range from $17.50 to $22.25 Peakdemand times (ex: Friday & Saturday evenings) offer the highest hourly rates.

• Earn pay raises with tenure

• Get paid on your terms: receive weekly pay through direct deposit or choose OnDemand Pay to get paid as often as daily.

Schedule

• Shifts:6to 8hours long

• FullTime or Part Time Opportunities:

• FullTime: Scheduled 45 days per week

• PartTime: Scheduled 23 days per week with opportunities to pick up additional shifts based on your availability

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be eligible to drive on the Uber platform:

• Must be 25 years of age or older.

• Valid California issued Drivers License with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience in the United States

• Must pass a preemployment background check and drug screen.

• A clean driving record: No more than 2 moving violations/atfault accidents in the last 3 years.

• No drivers license suspensions within the past 3 years.

• No existing suspensions from the Uber platform

• Successful completion of the Alto Driver Training Program is required

• Fluent in English.

Physical Requirements

• Able to communicate verbally and follow directions from our dispatch team.

• Comfortable with navigational apps (e.g. Uber driver app Google Maps Emails Web Browsing).

• Capable of entering and exiting the vehicle consistently to assist customers with their luggage.

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods.
