About us
Job Purpose
To support the creation of business strategy forecast using data and analytics. This role will define and implement business analytics that will deliver optimal performance to National Grid and put them into action.
Key Accountabilities
- Take a lead role in the proactive identification of important data and information and analyze business and financial information to identify important business trends and issues.
- Monitor track and report on performance metrics and progress on initiatives and issues and create relevant process improvements.
- Create relevant documentation such that all stakeholders are fully informed and all evidence or statistics are documented.
- Create business strategy forecasts for National Grid business areas.
- Manage performance indicators across all parts of the company under provide guidance improve performance within the framework of established policies regulatory agreements and risks to the business.
- Provide direction to counterparts in the data analysis function on data collection.
- Establish and define the future analytics requirements for National Grid that will drive outperformance in respect of process performance efficiency and value for money.
- Liaise with departmental leads and external Analytics providers to build an understanding of how analytics can help deliver the future value for National Grid.
Supervisory/Interpersonal Experience Required
- Ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
- Work well in a team.
Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in a business or engineeringrelated area
- Up to 2 years of related experience or equivalent work experience with demonstrated experience in performance management
