Job Description
As the Site Lead you will oversee all aspects of our onsite afterschool programs ensuring a safe nurturing and enriching environment for students. You will lead a team of coaches directing daily operations and implementing BAM! curriculum and policies.
- Direct and guide onsite coaches in running structured recess and afterschool STEM Sports and Arts programs.
- Work with onsite coaches to ensure they follow BAM! curriculum and program policies.
- Maintain safety protocols including checkin/checkout procedures for program participants.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and program updates.
- Serve as the primary liaison with school staff during program hours.
- Actively participate in coaching students and lead structured recess activities.
- Instruct students in the fundamentals of various activities fostering teamwork and skill development.
- Establish authority through effective leadership communication and patience.
- Maintain regular communication with the Program Manager.
- 2 years experience instructing children in grades K8.
- 1 years experience in a leadership role.
- Passion for teaching and coaching with effective communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and efficient class management abilities.
- Reliable transportation and valid Drivers License or State ID.
- Background check required.
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 2050 lbs. occasionally with or without accommodations.
- Wage: $22.00/hour
- Job Type: PartTime
- Availability Required: Mondays to Fridays from 3:00 PM 6:00 PM
