Requirements
We are looking for a talentedUI/UX Designer who is passionate about creating usercentered designs that areboth functional and delightful. You will work closely with crossfunctionalteams to design products that align with our ethical standards and drivebusiness outcomes. This role requires leadership qualities to guide designefforts and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies to collaborateeffectively in iterative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design :Createwireframes prototypes and highfidelity designs for web and mobileapplications.
User Research:Conduct userinterviews surveys and usability testing to gather insights and validatedesign decisions.
Collaboration:Workcollaboratively with product managers developers and other stakeholders toensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
Leadership:Providementorship to team members guide design strategies and contribute tofostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Agile Processes:Activelyparticipate in Agile ceremonies including standups sprint planning andretrospectives to ensure timely and effective delivery of design solutions.
Material DesignSystems:Leverage Material Design Systems to create consistent andscalable designs that align with industry standards.
Ethical Design:Ensure alldesigns adhere to ethical standards focusing on privacy and avoiding darkpatterns.
ContinuousImprovement:Stay updated with the latest design trends tools andtechnologies including responsible AI applications.
Accessibility:Design withinclusivity in mind ensuring products are accessible to users with varyingabilities.
Documentation:Preparedesign specifications and guidelines to assist development teams.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelorsdegree in Design HumanComputer Interaction or related field.
Experience:35 years ofprofessional experience in UI/UX design including leadership roles.
Portfolio:A strongportfolio showcasing usercentric design solutions.
TechnicalSkills:Proficiency in design tools like Sketch Figma Adobe XD orsimilar.
Material DesignKnowledge:Familiarity with Material Design Systems and their applicationin scalable design projects.
IllustrationSkills:Experience with AIgenerated image prompting and illustrationskills are assets.
Agile Familiarity:Provenexperience working in Agile environments and contributing to iterative designprocesses.
Understanding of Ethics:Knowledgeof ethical design practices and privacy considerations.
Communication:Excellentcommunication and presentation skills.
ProblemSolving:Ability tothink critically and provide creative solutions to design challenges.
Team Player:Strongcollaboration skills with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
