We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer to lead the Information Technology strategy infrastructure and team within our clients dynamic and fastpaced organisation. Reporting directly to executive leadership the CIO will be responsible for guiding the overall provision of IT services including infrastructure planning system integration and technology operations while managing a large team and significant budget.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of seniorlevel IT management experience.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Systems or a related field Postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA) is advantageous Minimum of 5 years of seniorlevel IT management experience Proven technical expertise and experience managing IT infrastructure Demonstrated project management experience Valid Drivers License (Code 08 Strong people management and team leadership capabilities
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide strategic governance and leadership across all IT functions Plan implement and monitor infrastructure changes and upgrades Ensure robust IT security through continuous system monitoring Develop and enforce IT standards best practices and documentation Lead the recruitment development and performance management of IT staff Collaborate closely with executive management on technology planning Oversee IT project ensuring alignment with business goals Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software procurement Guide the organization in adopting innovative IT solutions Oversee budgeting and financial management of the IT department Ensure compliance with IT regulations laws and internal governance Establish and maintain security protocols and risk mitigation strategies
