Job Description

  • Flexible location hybrid work arrangements
  • Part 0.4FTE Time and fixed term till 31 December 2025
  • HEW 6 $92573 $Superannuation (pro rata part time)
  • Internal position: Open to all current continuing fixed term and casual Deakin staff only

As an Administrative Coordinator you will:

  • Assist with administrative support for IHT meetings including the distribution of agendas and attachments attendance at meetings minutes and implementation of agreed resolutions.
  • Coordinate IHT Membership processes including managing the Membership database and associated mailing lists.
  • Provide advice feedback or referral as required with regard to University policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the Institute Share Point Site liaising with stakeholders to collect information and update relevant sections taking a proactive approach to ensuring information is accurate.
  • Lead process improvement activities and develop and implement practical accessible solutions based on stakeholder needs.
  • Maintain service standards including prompt issues resolution and adherence to privacy confidentiality and compliance requirements.

To be successful youll have:

  • A Degree and/or relevant experience.
  • Experience in administration in a large organisation with complex administrative structures policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated high level of digital literacy and capability.
  • Experience in operating in a highpressure diverse environment involving face to face phone and written communication.
  • Demonstrated high level analytical and problemsolving skills in a relevant setting.
  • Excellent written communication interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and produce clear and accurate communications.
