Position Summary
Room to Grow is in an exciting phase of growth expanding our impact to support more families raising babies in lowincome circumstances. The Development Coordinator will play a critical role in advancing our fundraising efforts helping to ensure we have the resources needed to sustain and scale our work. This is a unique opportunity for a detailoriented and missiondriven professional to contribute to a dynamic development team focused on building meaningful relationships with donors and stakeholders.
The Development Coordinator will report to the Interim Senior Managing Director External Engagement and collaborate closely with the Manager Individual Giving and broader External Engagement team. This role will support a variety of fundraising initiatives including donor engagement gift processing event coordination and prospect research. They will also play a key role in maintaining accurate donor records tracking fundraising performance and assisting with the of fundraising campaigns and special events.
A successful candidate will be highly organized proactive and excited about contributing to a missiondriven organization. They will bring strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and an eagerness to support a growing fundraising team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in nonprofit fundraising and development.
This is a fulltime hybrid position that offers a dynamic mix of inoffice and offsite work. Youll spend two days a week at our family center in the South Bronx with occasional inperson donor visits and engagement events throughout the New York areas as needed while having the flexibility to work from home on other days.
