Job Description:
Position: Sr. ManagerProduction
Location: Vapi
Experience: 10 12 Years
Industries: Engineering
Responsibliities:
- To achieve monthly production goals
- Active involvement with sales & planning
- Overall management of the Machine shop
- Overseeing trials of new parts with proper documentation
- Managing stocks of cutting tools and other key consumables and requesting supplies as required.
- Working with the Quality team to establish Quality Control plans for new parts.
- Lead a team of supervisors and operators including allocating daily/weekly tasks.
- Training & mentoring to operators
- Providing technical input on matters such as tooling selection processing
- parameters work holding processing sequence & finishing.
- Work with Maintenance team and ensure Preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines according to plan.
- Managing outsourced vendors
- Coordination & supervision of overall production.
Required Skills :
- Strong accomplished experience in CNC Turning VMC operations settings &programming.
- Proficient in engineering calculations and cycle time estimationCost estimation of new developed parts
- Well conversant with all types of cutting tools essential for machining center and measuring instruments
- Should be able to do CNC optimization & efficiency on shift basis
- Familiar CMM inspection and programming for routinely inspected items
- Well verged with latest manufacturing tools and techniques
- Ability to comprehend and follow safety instructions.
- Ability to prepare daily reports and correspond timely to relevant stakeholders.
- Able to do continuous improvement in process though KAIZEN.
- Preferred skills to lean manufacturing line balancing and FMEA.
- Initiate and implement cost and quality effective improvements.
- Preparation of Production budget
- Exposure to ISOand 45001
Required Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Mechanical
Salary: Upto 15.00 LPA
