Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director Strategy Delivery the Project Control Analyst is responsible for supporting project delivery through analysis controls and documentation activities in alignment in HTBs software delivery life cycle project management life cycle and governance frameworks.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and analyze project data to track progress costs and schedule performance using PMO tools and methodologies.
  • Create and maintain project documentation including status reports risk logs document RACIs maintain sign off logs help with tracking PRDs RAID logs issue registers and change requests
  • Support enterprise intake prioritization and gating process to ensure analysis transparency and reporting against the business case
  • Monitor project costs track variances and prepare financial forecasts and budgeting to support large projects
  • Ensure projects follow established PMLC (Project Management Life Cycle) and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) frameworks
  • Maintain project and program artifacts (e.g. Charters) documentation to support audit requirements and compliance reviews
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to collect and validate project deliverables against quality and governance standards
  • Support Strategy and Delivery governance meetings by preparing materials tracking key action items and maintaining formal documentation management and tracking systems including capturing sign offs
  • Take ownership to create and maintain PMO templates processes and best practices.
  • Closely partner with Technology Risk Compliance and Finance teams to ensure audit readiness and compliance as per banks guidelines.
  • Ability to engage and support both waterfall and Agile framework projects and stakeholders
  • Lead small initiatives independently and support PMs on larger initiatives
  • Facilitate project meetings track decisions and manage stakeholder communications
  • Manage and help resolve blockers for projects
  • Configure and maintain project management tools such as MS Project Jira Confluence) to support team collaboration
  • Keep current with industry best practices and propose ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degrees Diplomas & Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business IT or related field
  • Initial project management certification (e.g. CAPM) preferred but not mandatory

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

  • 5 years of experience in project controls analysis or junior project management preferably in banking/financial services industry
  • Proficient in project management tools including MS Project Jira Confluence and others
  • Experience with project management methodologies (eg. Agile Waterfall)
  • Excel and reporting dashboard creation skills e.g. Excel Power BI skills preferred
  • Knowledge of project governance and controls process
  • The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Experience working with crossfunctional teams and diverse stakeholders
  • Expertise in audit support and compliance documentation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong documentation and organizational navigation skills
  • Detailoriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Team collaboration and relationship building
