As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment BankSecuritized Product Group you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. As a React/UI Lead you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives and will have a strong background in frontend development with a focus on React.js and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of user interfaces using React.js and other modern frontend technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers designers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor and guide a team of frontend developers providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement best practices for code quality testing and deployment ensuring the delivery of robust and maintainable code.
- Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies and proactively recommend improvements to enhance the user experience.
- Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback to team members and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring timely delivery of highquality solutions.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Proven experience as a frontend developer with a strong focus on React.js & Typescript.
- Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and related frontend technologies.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and crossbrowser compatibility issues.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
