What does the role involve
Reporting to the Individual Giving Associate Director you will have the exciting opportunity to lead appeals and activations that inspire and empower supporters to make a difference! You will be responsible for managing and inspiring a motivated Single Giving team.
Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Develop and implement direct marketing strategies to achieve single income targets driving supporter acquisition activation renewal and retention to maximise lifetime value
- Manage stewardship of midlevel donors bequests and workplace giving supporters
- Oversee the delivery of Single Giving donation campaigns managing internal and external stakeholders across initiatives like Matched Giving Publications and Swaps & Coops
- Utilise datadriven insights for campaign decisionmaking including segmentation donor research and performance analysis to optimise strategies and improve return on investment from single giving activities
- Manage budgets and forecasts ensuring effective resource stewardship and alignment with Caritas Australias goals across acquisition retention and renewal
This role is based in our Mascot office and will work a hybrid model including two days in the office per week.
Who are we looking for
The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to Caritas Australias mission to end poverty and injustice by promoting human dignity for all as well as a dedication to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching that guide our global efforts. They will have a mix of the following qualifications skills and experience:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Direct Marketing with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns including appeals and retention activities
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives meet tight deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail under pressure
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Proficiency in data analysis and CRM tools
