About the Role
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the general and specific job duties as described below.
Your Responsibilities
- Determine reasons for equipment failures repair and maintain all equipment and facilities expediently to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment required to maintain uptime goals.
- Order appropriate replacement parts and fluids through the Maintenance Manager.
- Fabricate equipment components using welders milling machines lathes and other machine tools as required.
- Troubleshoot and repair all electrical hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical systems in the molding department.
- Execute lockout/tag out procedures as required on all department equipment and facilities.
- Assist in the implementation development and maintenance of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Who we are looking for
- Must have an Associates Degree in a related and technical field of study required. Six years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.
- Must be computer literate on the Windows platform.
Your preferred qualifications
- Mechanical and electrical experience with industrial control is an asset.
- LOTO knowledge.
- Maintain a high departmental standard of cleanliness in all areas.
