Job Description

Summary


King Countys Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) provides equitable opportunities for people to be healthy happy and connected to community.


DCHS is seeking an energetic and passionate leader to join the team as a DeputyDivision Director for its
Housing and Community Development (HCD) Division. HCD has a budget of over $500 million and consists of 60 staff who manage contracted community partners develop policies and plans and provide direct services.HCD works in partnership with organizations and communities to provide services and programs that support housing stability affordable housing and community development programs in King County.

  • Familiarity with King Countyspecific affordable housing housing stability and community development issues and knowledge of subregional differences.

  • Experience leveraging government programs processes and policies to achieve equitable outcomes.
  • Significant affordable housing capital or affordable housing operations and services knowledge and experience.
