Introduction
Property Finance Sales Consultant (Financial Services)
Location: Pietermaritzburg KwaZuluNatal
A large financial services group is seeking the expertise of a Property Finance Sales Consultant.
Duties & Responsibilities
As an experienced Property Finance Sales Consultant one will be responsible to actively prospect potential home loan clients through lead providers (agents and originators) and through personal marketing and people engagement opportunities.
One will be using the appropriate needs analysis based selling techniques either switch clients from other financial institutions or to offer them a new home finance packages that is tailor made and accompanied by the firms amazing service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source potential clients.
- Identify needs.
- Match relevant product package to relevant need.
- Explain the LOA (Final Grant) and close the deal.
- Maintain customer contact and followup.
- Applications capture and file construction.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications and Experience:
- A completed Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of current (external / hunting) Financial Sales / Home loan sales / Property Sales experience required.
- Minimum 2 years proven track record in external sales/ hunting sales role (sales leagues / rankings; records and achievements).
- Financial services industry experience.
- Experience with generating own leads and cold calling No Inbound Sales.
- Exceptional knowledge of the area/region one is applying for.
- External Sales only.
- Must have operated in an environment that requires proactive prospecting (a hunter). One must have worked in a pressurised sales environment.
- Stable career track record / a clear credit and criminal record will be required.
- Own reliable Transport is essential.
- Exceptionally strong admin skill set / communication skills.
