Job Description

Position: Retirement Plan Advisor Vice President New Business Development
Department: Retirement Plan Consulting
Full or Part Time: Full Time
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Reports To: Retirement Plan Advisor SVPClient Relationship & New Business Development

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retirement Plan Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in retirement plan sales or 5 years in retirement plan sales support. This role requires someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is a selfstarter a gogetter and highly motivated to achieve results. The successful candidate will excel in networking and building relationships. They should be friendly outgoing and possess excellent communication skills. This position is designed with a growth path.

Core Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the retirement planning sector. Drive sales through proactive outreach cold calling networking and client referrals.

Networking: Actively participate in industry events seminars and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and generate leads.

Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest retirement plan products services and industry trends. Provide clients with informed recommendations based on current market conditions.

Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative sales approach to understand client needs present appropriate retirement plan solutions and close sales.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including our dedicated retirement plan advisors to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies in the sale of retirement plans.

Qualifications Required:
Experience: 3 years of experience in retirement plan sales or 5 years sales support in the retirement plan business.

Education: Bachelors degree in business Finance or a related field preferred.

License: Must possess either a Series 65 or 66. Certain certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) accepted in lieu of licensing.
