Job Description

The Community Education Department has several Summer Worker positions open for their WOW program. The WOW program is a summer recreation program for grades 16.

Dates: June 30 2025 August 8 2025(MondayFriday)

Hours:Schedule varies weekly depending on program needs. (between 8am 5pm)

Duties:Summer Workers will support the instructors of the Summer Recreation Program.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 15 years of age
  • Must have experience working with children (Babysitting coaching sports scouts volunteer or paid does count as experience.
  • Must be able to take direction
  • Fingerprinting is required. (Info will be provided at the time of hire.
  • Ability to work the predetermined Schedule
  • Ability to assist classroom Teacher
  • Ability to follow District procedures
  • Ability to work with parents students and staff.

Preferred:

  • An interest in Sports Arts & Crafts Science math computers and cooking will help to make this work experience even more enjoyable.
