About the Role:

09The shift timing for this role will be UK/EMEA shift 2PM11PM IST flexibility required)
The Team:We cover two worldwide commodities sectors: energy and metals/mining. Our team of editors is based in several countries and we work together to publish timely news and analysis.
Do you want to join a global provider of financial research and analysis Join us and you will have the chance to further expand your editing and journalism skills while handling a range of editorial responsibilities.
Responsibilities and Impact:We provide workflow oversight and editorial decisionmaking. Do you love coordinating with writers and fellow editors In this role you will do just that. You will ensure that coverage of our sectors is written and posted to our online platform in a timely fashion with a focus on quality.
Edit a combination of timely news articles and indepth features.
Maintain S&P Global high standards for quality and style.
Publish news articles to our realtime online platform.
Communicate effectively with writers editors and production staff.
Provide effective feedback to writers to help them grow in their roles.
Stay up to date with knowledge of covered industries.
Expand technical expertise by learning evolving systems and platforms.
Crosspost content between platforms.
What Were Looking For:
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree preferable in Journalism.
1 to 5 years of Journalism experience working as an editor having strong editorial skills.
Excellent written and oral Englishlanguage skills.
Ability to multitask while following a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Desire to expand your knowledge of the energy and metals/mining sectors.
Preferred Skills:
Commodities industry experience a plus.
