About the Role:
Were looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities. Youll provide personalized care foster independence and contribute to an inclusive society. Flexibility is essential as shifts occur on both weekdays and weekends.
While experience is ideal we also welcome candidates who have cared for loved ones or family members or those returning to the workforce or seeking a career change. Must be willing to do Personal Care or be willing to learn how to provide this kind of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals in various settings (home community Aruma hubs respite houses).
- Thrive in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
- Encourage skill development community participation and personal growth.
- Assist with daily living personal care and mobility.
- Provide personcentred support to foster independence and meet individual goals.
- Advocate for individuals rights and needs.
- Ensure a safe environment.
