Job Description
The MURAP Writing Coordinator is responsible for conducting comprehensive writing instruction for MURAP participants. For each MURAP cohort the writing coordinator will support the senior writing coordinator in 1. Designing writing instruction in key components of the writing process. 2. Read all required assignments and drafts for each student and provide substantive comments for revision. 3. Facilitate biweekly classes for a humanitiesbased writing group and a social sciencebased writing group. 4. Be a resource for students if they encounter any problems in the writing process. 5. Create an environment where students actively participate in the writing and revision process 6. Attend all program events and activities.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Previous experience leading workshops Experience in academia and academic language and writing
