Your Impact

Hearst is seeking an Associate Manager of Marketing & Account Strategy within its Emerging Markets Group with a focus on Finance Government and Organizations. This role will work with a crossdisciplinary team of Hearst salespeople campaign strategists content studio professionals and others to build marketing programs that grow revenue and margins while delivering powerful results for our clients.

The Associate Manager will join a team of marketers who are responsible for the strategy and development of integrated marketing opportunities and programs and building successful partnerships with salespeople while also identifying prospects that can be approached proactively with compelling ideas that preempt the RFP process.



Responsibilities

What Youll Do:

  • Distill client RFPs into smart and strategic marketing proposals
  • Use data insights and research to build compelling and informed opportunities
  • Conceptualize and develop partnerspecific crossplatform marketing programs such as custom content and native executions experiential activations and direct marketing digital campaigns
  • Ensure that all work meets the standards of Hearst brands and all aspects of written design and are of the highest quality
  • Manage daytoday requests from sales/staff/management
  • Manage project budgets and timelines


Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • Experience in both the strategic and executional aspects of proposal development
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Resourceful; inclination to independently problemsolve before bringing questions to larger group
  • Experience reading and understanding RFPs and media grids
  • Comfortable working in a fastchanging environment and juggling multiple priorities and ability to operate in a team culture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to influence and present to senior executives
  • Analytic and strategic thinking skills
  • Positive cando attitude
  • Understanding of/interest in Hearst editorial products and the Finance Government and Organizations industries are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Keynote and Google Suite
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience

The basesalaryfor this role is between $66000$69000.The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors such as: transferable skills work experience business needs and market demands. The base payrangeis subject to change and may be modified in the future.
