Job Description
KCR Solutions are working with this manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Newcastle in their search for an experienced Assistant Accountant.
You will report to the Financial Controller and support with the day to day running of the accounts department. You will either be actively studying towards an accountancy qualification or be qualified by experience.
THIS POSITION IS FULLY OFFICE BASED.
- Inputting and processing purchase invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Sales ledger responsibilities
- Cashbook postings
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Journal posting
- Responsible for petty cash and processing expenses
- Accruals and prepayments
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Adhoc duties as required
This role will be office based and you will be working within a small team. As an individual you will enjoy a varied role and be interested in taking on added responsibility as you become more familiar with the business.
