LOCATION & SCHEDULE
Hybrid position based in the Northeast US targeting DE NJ with frequent travel within assigned territory.
Fulltime.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Sales and Distribution Manager at Continental Floral Greens you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in mass markets and garden centers. You will manage transportation storage and distribution while building strong customer relationships and driving sales.
Plan and coordinate the transportation storage and distribution of floral products from the central distribution center.
Develop and present sales proposals including pricing credit terms and delivery schedules.
Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships.
Conduct inperson and virtual product line reviews.
Research market trends and competitor activities to enhance sales strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal inventory management and fulfillment.
Provide exceptional customer service and address any issues that may arise.
Work proactively on product development to meet specific customer needs.
WHO YOU ARE
A dynamic and selfmotivated sales professional.
A strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
Detailoriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Communications or a related field or equivalent experience.
3 years of sales experience in agriculture manufacturing or perishable goods.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint etc..
Experience in wholesale mass market or garden centers preferred.
Existing cut floral/Christmas floral customer base on the East Coast is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Dependent on the position offered other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
The target hiring range for this position is $75000$90000 per year plus commission potential of up to 1.75 of sales. Commission guaranteed first 12 months in position.
