JOB TITLE: Composite and Polymer Process Engineer - DIRECT
LOCATION: Greenville SC
SALARY: $70000-80000/year

Summary:
-
Lead daily press-molding operations equipment maintenance and scheduling for reinforced polymer parts
-
Operate molding equipment and understand production machine controls
-
Design and test prototype tooling and materials for new product development
-
Develop tooling inspection procedures and process documentation
-
Manage material/component selection and availability
-
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure product quality
-
Troubleshoot molds machines and processes
-
Maintain molding equipment
Requirements:
-
Bachelors degree in Engineering Polymer/Plastics discipline preferred or equivalent experience
-
Minimum 3 years experience in plastics injection/compression molding
-
Hands-on experience developing multi-cavity mold tooling processes
-
Strong background in injection/compression molding manufacturing
-
Knowledge of automation electronics PLC programming and fluid power
-
Proficient in documenting process steps and component/equipment design; CAD skills required (training available)

Self-starter with the ability to schedule and execute tasks independently

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
