Job Title: AIX and Linux Administrator
Location: Miami FL (Day-1 onsite)
Job Type: Full Time (W2 only)
Experience: 8 years
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AIX/Linux Administrator to manage maintain and support enterprise-level AIX and Linux server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system performance patch management troubleshooting and ensuring high availability of critical infrastructure. Strong expertise in shell scripting LVM backup solutions and system security is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* AIX installation and configuration
* LPAR installation creation and configuration
* Creation of shell scripts to automate operational tasks
* Enhancing of VIOS configuration
* Manage Monitor and Modify AIX filesystem configurations
* a. Dynamic Micro-partitioning
* b. Dynamic configuration
* c. PowerHA
* Design document and runbook updates for AIX System management
* a. Develops documents and implements guidelines standards and procedures
* Manage Create LINUX OS systems (RHEL)
* Design document and runbook updates for LINUX OS management b. Develops documents and implement guidelines standards and procedures
* Assess and remediate OS patch requirements and update OS documentation
* Advice on OS upgrades to ensure compliance
* Advice on troubleshooting performance analysis and tuning
* Advising on infrastructure hardening and security configura
