*** Emergency Department RN Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & EOW 36hrs. *** 1. Unit Name: Emergency Department. 2. Brief Unit Description: 65-Bed Emergency Department pod-based with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area. 3. Years of Experience Required: 2 years Emergency Nursing experience. 4. Skill Sets Required: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: Assessment documentation IV phlebotomy EKG Cardiac Monitoring point of care testing splinting critical thinking and patient education. 5. Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4. 6. Patient Population: All. 7. Bed Count: 65. 8. Census: 230 visits/day. 9. EMR (Charting System): EPIC ASAP. 10. Floating Required: Yes. 11. Rotating Shifts Required: Yes for Day Rotate (7a-7p 11a-11p & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency: Low. Night position does not rotate. 12. Certifications Required: BLS ACLS PALS NRP (preferred). 13. Additional Information: TNCC strongly preferred.
