Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Engineering Process Engineering Metallurgy or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of sales/management experience in mining process equipment or consulting engineering.
Proven track record in a leadership position selling capital equipment to the minerals industry (international experience in Africa preferred).
Strong knowledge of crushing and processing equipment and operations.
Experience in large capital equipment tenders including costing technical proposals negotiation and risk mitigation.
A wellestablished network in the minerals industry.
Experience in costing/estimating for capital equipment tenders.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to interpret client needs and provide valueadded solutions.
Strong financial modeling and budgeting experience.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally for extended periods.
Advanced computer literacy and valid drivers license.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and develop market opportunities for capital equipment and plant solutions.
Assess client needs and present solutions with measurable commercial benefits.
Develop aftermarket sales strategies linked to the installed base.
Prepare proposals coordinate required tests and negotiate contract terms.
Oversee contract processes and ensure seamless handovers of capital equipment orders.
Drive the development of new products to maintain a competitive edge.
Monitor expenses and ensure budget alignment.
Stay updated on market trends competitors and pricing strategies.
Management & Leadership:
Manage and oversee the sales process to align company capabilities with client requirements.
Lead and develop sales teams technical specialists and external agents.
Conduct performance appraisals and implement staff development programs.
Maintain accurate records of pricing sales and activity reports.
Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 quality measures and company policies.
