Venturi LLC A Chenega Company has an exciting career opportunity for a Lead Systems Engineerwho will provide coordinated communications integration support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Chief Engineer and United Arab Emirates (UAE) THAAD Engineering Lead.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide systems and interoperability engineering analysis and technical guidance regarding the THAAD weapon system with international partners.
  • Assist the Engineering Lead with managing the technical aspects of all assigned force design work.
  • Assist with international Tactical Data Link Architecture and attend data link conferences.
  • Collaborate and coordinate on force design technical efforts with multiple external agencies and stakeholders.
  • Identify deficiencies and shortcomings in planned or ongoing design reviews and provide options for fixing them.
  • Document and communicate interim and final technical findings and results in a clear manner that is understandable to seniorlevel decision makers.
  • Participate in regular and ad hoc force design meetings and technical exchanges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • MS degree in STEM and 12 years working on missile defenserelated or other complex large DoD program/project.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Technical understanding and experience with missile defense or radar systems.
  • Develop and present reports and presentations to senior managementlevel personnel.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills required.
  • Experience with DoD terrestrial and satellite communication systems (MILSATCOM).
  • Ability to work independently and/or lead teams to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency Ballistic Missile Defense System and/or THAAD Program Office work efforts.
  • Proficiency in system engineering and processes.
  • Prior experience with Tactical data links (TDL J Link 11 Link 16 systems encryption systems precision timing systems (PNT) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Desired:
  • Military experience with Air Defense Artillery Theater High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) and/or Common Data Link InterfaceModule (CDLIM).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Access and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working within a collaborative environment composed of Government prime contractor subcontractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badgeless contractor environment.
  • Selfstarter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fastpaced environment.
  • Prior experience within Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to work independently as a team member or leading teams/tasks applying engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems.
  • Indepth practical and theoretical technical/engineering knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of missile defense system components and mission.
  • Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a highpaced environment while coordinating with multiple organizations and leadership.
  • Proficient with Microsoft software applications.
  • Ability to execute and complete tasks with no supervision.
  • Ability to travel 2025 to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Ability to work nights weekends and holidays as required.
