Job Description

Job Duties
- Lead and support CFD projects across all product divisions burners flares thermal oxidizers vapor.
- Work closely with the Computational Group at Zeeco headquarters in Tulsa OK.
- Support the research and development projects that require CFD analyses.
- Interpret and present simulation findings clearly to help guide engineering design decisions.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Work with complicated geometry fluid flows turbulence and reactions within CFD.
- Utilize your knowledge in CFD and programming to improve the CFD workflow.
- Contribute to the longterm business and technical objectives of the Computational Group and Zeeco as whole.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in mechanical or chemical engineering required. Doctorate degree preferred.
- Prior experience in combustion preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
- Extensive experience using CFD tools such as ANSYS FLUENT or SIEMENS STARCCM is required.
- CAD experience required. (Tools such as SOLIDWORKS Autodesk Inventor SpaceClaim etc.
- Minimum industry experience of 1 year.
- Programming experience preferred. (Python Java C Fortran R etc.
- Linux experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with an ability to present complex technical information clearly.
