Job Title: Student Worker Spirit and Traditions Intern

Pay Rate: $15/hr for returning employees; $13/hr for new hires
Job Description:
Provides support and leadership for Spirit and Traditions Fall and Spring initiatives: Student Tailgate (Football) and Org of the Game (Basketball)
Student Tailgate:
- Provides positive peer leadership to the student football gameday experience
- Facilitates the load in and load out process for each participating student organization at the Student Organization Tailgate Area
- Offers support and leadership to student organizations during their time tailgating prior to and after Baylors home football games
Org of the Game:
- Provides positive peer leadership to the Org of the Game at all Basketball home games in the Ferrell Center
- Facilitates the check in of the student organization and helps org access the Org of the Game section
- Offers support and service to student organizations during their time as the Org of the Game
Skills required for position:
- Able to make decisions in line Baylor and Spirit and Traditions policy without direct supervision from supervisor when needed
- Able to work within an ever changing and fast paced environment
- Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work
- Builds productive working relationships with students staff and guests characterized by collegiality cooperation and respect
- Positively represent Baylor Student Activities and Spirit and Traditions
Special Instructions:
- Must be able to work home football gamedays six hours before kickoff)
- 9/3 9/10 10/1 10/22 11/12 11/19 and scheduled basketball games 1.5 hours before game time)
- Involves driving golf carts/utility vehicles Must possess a valid drivers license and completion of Baylor driving certification to drive
