Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hard-working semi-skilled worker with experience using grinders in a manufacturing or engineering environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with good practical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate hand-held and bench grinders to clean deburr and finish metal components
Assist skilled fabricators and welders as required
Handle materials safely and keep the work area clean and organised
Follow health & safety procedures at all times
Perform basic quality checks on finished parts
Support general workshop duties as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience using grinding tools (angle grinders pedestal grinders etc.)
Basic knowledge of metalworking or fabrication processes
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
Reliable punctual and able to work well in a team environment
