Your role
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of People Analytics within the People & Culture (P&C) team the Workday Reporting Specialist will join the team on an exciting journey to unlock Workdays reporting & analytical capabilities across the organization. You will partner with leaders across HR and the business to democratize the use of data & enable a datadriven culture through thought leadership and consultation. You will collaborate closely with the process team and business process owners to understand various HR Programs their requirements and provide datadriven insights and recommendations.
This position can be located in Ottawa Montreal or Toronto and travel may be required. Please note that this is a hybrid role.
This is a contract position for a period of 1 year.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a Workday report dashboard & discovery board subject matter expert.
Work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders throughout the organization to define their business requirements for reports then build test and deploy
Develop test and deploy Workday reports for all Workday modules (Absence Benefits Compensation HCM Time Tracking etc.
Identify areas of opportunity to consolidate and streamline reports
Troubleshoot performance security and data quality issues.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
Prior experience in Human Resources is required with a strong emphasis on HR reporting and analytics
Proficiency in Workday Report Writer Calculated Fields and Discovery Boards
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Innovative thinking clear analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to explain technological concepts and issues in a manner that business partners understand.
Bilingual: French and English is an asset
