Description
RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our clients team in Rosslyn Gauteng. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on the responsibility of maintaining calibrating and repairing instrumentation and control systems within a fastpaced industrial environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and control systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Install configure and commission new instrumentation and automation equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards while performing maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs calibrations and system modifications.
- Work closely with the engineering and production teams to optimize system performance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance plans.
Requirements:
- National Diploma or Trade Certificate in Instrumentation Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of PLC systems SCADA and process control instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams schematics and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
