Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HighFrequency Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in engineering with focus on RF testing.. In this role you will collaborate with our Product Development Team to design and deliver advanced test systems for the characterization and control of cuttingedge semiconductor optical components (PICs) produced at our Jrflla facility.

KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a valued member of the Product Development Test Team you will:

  • Represent the team in the design and planning of new test setups including defining hardware/instrumentation requirements and supporting characterization and verification test activities.
  • Plan and coordinate projectspecific activities for team members during the component/OSA development phase.
  • Review performance requirements and contribute to drafting and refining product specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement during the development and manufacturing phases by:
    • Managing specification changes.
    • Supporting deployment to new sites.
    • Reducing test times and optimizing processes.
  • Document all hardware setups with attention to detail ensuring traceability.
  • Collaborate daily with crossfunctional teams including Chip Design Wafer Fabrication Process Engineering Operations Quality and Reliability and Project Management.
  • Facilitate ongoing knowledge sharing on technical topics to team members.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • MSc or PhD with at least 5 years of experience in optoelectronics electronics or engineering physics with focus on high frequency test or design.
  • Expertise in PCB design or substrate design for high frequency testing.
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).

Preferred:

  • Experience in test automation.
  • Knowledge of applied mathematics or physics.
  • Lab instrumentation and environment expertise.
  • Experience with optoelectronic or electronic device characterization.
  • Skills in statistical analysis.
