Job Description
Accounting Managerposition.
This position provides a flexible work schedule and promotes a strong worklife balance.
Annual Salary: $65000
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Supervises the Acct. Clerk I Acct. Clerk II and POS Auditor.
- Support CFO and Staff Accountant with monthend close process.
- Logs journal entries of other than routine income or expense activity.
- Fills in as a backup for the biweekly payroll process when needed.
- Fills in as a backup for backup for the weekly accounts payable check process.
- Conducts monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Monitors receivables to ensure timely collections.
- Conducts weekly review of checks for accuracy and proper general ledger account coding.
- Evaluate internal controls at the store and business office to ensure accurate financial results and reporting.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Five years of accounting experience or equivalent
- Two years supervisory experience of multiple staff
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Valid drivers license
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Sound judgement and good critical thinking skills
- High level of integrity
- Demonstrates initiative consistently
- Ability to make sound financial decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
